Clichés Made in USA ©, notebooks of a conversation between a photographer and a sociologist. Charlotte Bresson, a French photographer, embarks on a road trip across six US states after a sudden change in her life. A selection of eighty images taken during this introspective journey are interwoven with a conversation led by sociologist Mikaël Salaün. The artist's intimate emotions blend with the "clichés" of contemporary America in this beautiful 132-page self-published book. The book features a hardcover binding, sewn sections and a straight, re-pinched spine, printed in HR-UV offset on Fedrigoni Symbol Tatami White paper. The book's cover is adorned with an orange Toile du Marais Tangerine fabric, casemounted on 25/10e board. An image-vignette digitally printed in CMYK + gloss lamination is glued into an embossed recess on the front cover. Titles and authors are hot-stamped in Luxor gloss black on the front cover and spine.
