In this 17th print volume, we wanted to discuss theory and re-establish the profound culture of the outdoors.
Why? Because over the years, we've realized that theory is an often-neglected aspect of our outdoor practices. The reason is simple: the word theory evokes safety rules to follow, constraints, and lengthy training.
However, reducing outdoor knowledge to its safety aspect would be uninspired. Because nature has so much more to offer to those who know how to decipher it. Being able to name the surrounding peaks, understanding their history, or explaining natural phenomena greatly expands our field of vision. It is the soul of our adventures.
